#1. The mass of hydrate we used was 1 gram.
#2. The mass of water lost was about .32 grams.
#3. The percentage of water in the hydrate was 32%
#4. Our percent error was 11%. This is likely due to measurement errors or not having the water fully evaporated. Our water coefficient is probably lower than the correct number
#5 a. .0178 moles of water evaporated
b. .013 moles of anhydrate that remained in the evaporating dish.
c. The ratio of anhydrate moles to water moles was 1.37:1
d. We calculated the empirical formula to be 1 CuSO4 + 1 H20. We did this because they were the nearest hole numbers from the ratio we calculated in step C.
